Shapella upgrade will activate at 6:27:35 Beijing time on April 13
Ethereum Foundation has announced that it will activate the Shapella upgrade on epoch 194048 at 6:27:35 Beijing time on April 13. This upgrade will enable validators to withdraw their stack from the beacon chain back to the execution layer, and also introduces new capabilities for the execution and consensus layers.
Ethereum client Prysm has released V4.0.0 for the Shapella upgrade
Ethereum client Prysm has released V4.0.0 for the Shapella upgrade. This version is mandatory for all mainnet beacon nodes and validators and must be upgraded by April 12.

Polygon announced the launch of its zkEVM mainnet beta
Polygon announced the launch of its zkEVM mainnet beta, with Vitalik Buterin making a symbolic first transaction. Polygon also said that in order to make the network censor-resistant, users will eventually be able to force transactions to Ethereum L1 in the event of a failure, a mechanism that will be enabled briefly after the rollout.
